One must know, to build muscle tone, you have to concentrate on building your muscles. When you workout, do the workouts to build up many muscles at once. You need to have something to tone out. Since you can’t tone out your muscles in the gym, you nothing else to do but build your muscles.

The key is to work many muscles at once so your body will develop evenly and efficiently. Compound exercises will help you with this. They are the most beneficial part in building muscle. Exercises like the squat, deadlift, bench press, military press, pushups, and pull ups are all examples of compound exercises. They work more than one muscle at a time, while also using your joints in your body, strengthening them as well. Drop your calorie intake. Eating fewer calories a day will cause your body to look for other sources of energy to make up for the loss of calories. Your body will turn to your body fat that is covering your muscle.

You cannot keep eating the same foods as usual. You need to switch off any boxed meals, fast foods, and candy in order to start eating “clean”. Foods that are natural will be your main choice. For example, chicken, fish, vegetables, and fruits are all good foods to get enough nutrients to get a good workout done and also lose some weight, to build muscle tone.

Once you have built your muscles up, dropped your calorie intake, and stay eating “clean”, you will be on your way to build muscle tone.
